Discover Steno

Discover Steno presents a series of complimentary workshops designed to acquaint participants with the professions of captioning and court reporting while evaluating fundamental skills essential for success in the program.

Delivered via web conferencing, Discover Steno offers flexibility in attendance.

The workshops, scheduled for Monday evenings, span six weeks with a total commitment of 15 to 18 hours. In the event of holidays falling on Mondays, sessions will be rescheduled for Tuesdays.

Prospective students of the Court Transcription and Captioning and Court Reporting programs are strongly advised to complete Discover Steno workshops.

While attendance is optional, we highly recommend participants attend all sessions. Successful completion earns a Certificate of Completion from the NCRA. Additionally, participants enrolling in the CCR program may qualify for NCRA Discover Steno scholarships.
