Court Reporting
Court reporters provide high-quality verbatim transcripts in a variety of legal settings (both in person and remote) in real time. In each of these settings, court reporters use their skills to improve the efficiency of proceedings by providing instant readback of testimony and preparation of certified transcripts from their shorthand notes with quick turnaround times. They play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of the record.
CART
CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is a word-for-word transcription service (both in person and remote) that accurately reflects the audible events of an environment providing groups and individuals with enhanced accessibility.
Captioning
Broadcast captioners, also called steno captioners, transcribe audio into writing, often in real time, enabling the public to follow along easier with news reports, emergency broadcasts, sporting events, press conferences, TV shows, movies, and more. These transcribed captions are displayed on-screen simultaneously with the audio.
